Members and guests often remark that The Ranch feels like it’s been here for generations. In reality, the placemaking began in 2005. The unique sense of place is by design – and summed up in our unwavering design ethos – Walk Softly On The Land. Our simple allegiance to the land and our desire to live a relaxed, active and gratifying life requires a vision that provides for generations to come.
Our allegiance to the land runs deep. Every community building is Gold Leed certified. Every home is Earth Advantage certified. 900 of 1,800 acres are forever protected. The majority of the fresh food prepared by our dedicated and talented culinary team comes from our neighboring farms. These are conscious decisions made to improve the lives of every Member, and our global community.
The members are bonded by a desire to live a relaxed, active and gratifying life. Upon approval, owners have their choice of three clubs – Athletic, Equestrian and Golf. The facilities include the 17,000 square foot Athletic Club, two exercise studios, six pools, two tennis courts, 18-hole Brasada Canyons, driving range, 26 full-service equestrian stalls, numerous pastures, endless riding trails, and the Member-only Club Room with custom menus, private terrace and oversized firepit.
Our philosophical allegiance to seamlessness between land, structure and open space defines the design and construction of new structures. While members may engage with the builder of your choosing, the Preferred Builders have intimate knowledge of The Ranch’s design guidelines and have successfully completed multiple homes here on the Powell Buttes.
The purpose of our design guidelines is to protect and enhance the value of Brasada Ranch by creating governing principles and restrictions for the design of homes within the community. They are unique to Brasada Ranch and are designed to establish style and form so architecture and landscape blend harmoniously as one.
